If you’re an admin, you can map your entire Slack workspace to a specific mixus organization:- Workspace-level mapping takes priority over individual preferences
- All team members automatically use the mapped organization
- Ideal for company-wide Slack installations
- Optional default space configuration for channels
- Contact mixus support to map your workspace
- Provide your Slack workspace ID and desired organization
- All messages from your workspace will use this organization
Note: Workspace mapping is managed by mixus administrators. Contact support@mixus.ai to set up your workspace mapping.
👤 Personal Default Organization
When your workspace isn’t mapped to a specific organization, you can set your personal default: To set your default Slack organization:- Navigate to your Account Settings → Slack Preferences
- In the Default Organization section, select from your available organizations
- Click Save Preferences

When you interact with mixus in Slack, the system determines which organization context to use based on:- Workspace Mapping - If your Slack workspace is mapped to an organization (highest priority)
- Your Default Preference - The organization you’ve set in Slack settings
- Recent Activity - Your most recently active organization across all channels
- First Organization - If no recent activity, your first organization is used
- Playground - Guest users and new users are assigned to the playground
